The Dinong Sereko Award, our Education Divisional Employee Recognition Programme that recognises your extraordinary contribution, success and job done well. It means taking the time and making the effort to say we value the difference you make to the customer, your colleagues and in the workplace.

Nomination Process:

  • Nominations must be made by completing the form above. All forms will automatically submitted to [email protected]
  • Nominations must identify the specific award category.
  • Nominees may receive awards in multiple categories.
  • Nominations must be supported by a written description of why the nominee deserves consideration for the specified award.
  • Nominations for multiple categories for an individual must be submitted separately.
  • Nominations must be seconded by written signature on the nomination form. Absent a second, the nominee will be considered only if he or she received at least one more nomination for the same award category.
  • Any member of the department may participate in the nomination and second process.
  • Self-nominations or seconds will not be accepted.
  • Anonymous nominations or seconds will not be accepted.
  • Nominations or seconds will not be accepted from a spouse, partner, or immediate family member of the nominator or nominee.
  • A selection committee, broadly representative of the business, will be established to review nominations and select recipients.
  • The supervisor or line manager of a nominee can serve on the committee but must abstain from the discussion and vote on that nominee.
  • If a selection committee member is nominated, he or she may not be present during the relevant portion of the discussion.
  • Recipients will be chosen by a majority of selection committee members eligible to vote. In the event of a tie vote, the award will be granted.
  • Details of nominations and discussions about nominees who are not selected will be kept confidential.
  • The overall nomination, selection and voting process will be overseen by a representative from the Adapt IT Group that the committee needs to appoint to ensure a free and fair process.

What is it? 

This award is in honor of the late Mr. Dinong Sereko who embodied the qualities of a professional, expert and leader that sought to enable his internal and external stakeholders to achieve more.

The purpose of this award is to recognize and reward an individual and/or team that has gone above and beyond the call of duty. It celebrates sustained performance in duties, initiative or tasks.

What is it?

Innovation brings about change and adds unexpected value to a business. This promotes ongoing and ad hoc collaboration efforts. It’s a space for employees to participate, create and frame solutions to specific business problems and opportunities.

Customer: Implementation of a customer-centric idea that is a game changer
People: Innovative idea implemented and had a positive outcome in the HC or people space
Operational: Innovation that improved the business
Financial: Sales or customer retention goals achieved through innovative ideas that generate financial revenues, or other initiatives or innovation that yield financial benefits

What is it?

The Team award is a recognition of success by a particular team. It could be based on reaching a specific and important milestone, event or special contribution to a project. It can also be recognition of a team that has demonstrated the company values and behaviors consistently.

Team award can be either at Team/BU or Project level

What is it?

In recognition of outstanding sales achievement. Everyone can rise above their circumstance and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do.

Criteria:

  • Revenue growth over the previous financial year.
  • Attaining a particular level of revenue, customer retention numbers, new account acquisitions and increased margin/profit levels.
  • Successful in selling a new product, revenue in a target market, expansion into a new market, penetration of a new geographic area, or major account growth overall.
