Adapt IT Education recently participated at the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) golf day and fundraising event to help the institution raise funds for needy students and diversify its donor relations strategy.
We take this opportunity to also thank Mr. Tebogo Kekana, (Principal at Sekhukhune TVET College) and Mr. Ntshakotse Mphahlele (CFO at Lephalale TVET College), for their attendance and participation at this event. We value the opportunities to engage our customers and colleagues and to join hands to contribute to the shaping of the future of our youth and positively impacting the lives of students.
“As an ICT partner to the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, this initiative spoke to our mission of being a socially responsible and enabling organisation, supporting worthy causes, and facilitating student success,” says Thato Mthembu, Executive Manager Business Development.
“We, at Adapt It Education, know first hand how difficult student life is, especially in our country. The focus of our efforts is therefore not only towards relieving the plight of all needy students at our institutions of higher learning but also in empowering them to know that if they can dream it, they can achieve it.”
The money raised will support a feeding scheme that takes care of 600 students on campus as well as help buy sanitary and toiletry packs. The donations will also fund a stationery project for 2000 needy students.
